I said that tongue-in-cheek to be fair, but the point is relatively true. Older Brits really do seem to like the kind of of battered well-worn 'style' you only see in the UK. Familiarity is another reason. Knowing what you'll get, what to expect and so on. That's another reason why people prefer Club World seats over Club Suite, despite those old seats being visibly well used, grubby and with a a tiny dirty slow IFE.
