And on longer flights intra-EU (think AMS-VLC or AMS-ALC) you also get a "second serving". Last time it was a chocolate brownie. I managed to get 3-4 of those somehow when the FA still had some left and came to ask if I wanted another one. My enthusiastic "bring it on" probably helped, as they're pretty decent (pre-packaged) brownies. Definitely better than the sandwich of the day. Actually there's only 1 or 2 of these sandwich variants which I somewhat like, the others I just skip.
In that regard I prefer the chicken sandwich from AF, be it they're rather small but at least less dry. I never get the courage to ask for a second one though, even though I'm sure they probably have leftovers.
