I think I'll end up going with the Marriott Marquis. It ticks all the boxes. Thanks again for everyone's input!

Last question: I'm booking the room for 2 pax when we're actually 3. Selecting a kid sends the price up to CNY 3000/night for a junior suite. Will that create an issue at check-in? I had that scenario before (Sheraton Tokyo chimes to mind) and they told me to just go ahead and book a room for 2. FWIW, we can easily fit our 8 y.o. in a King bed with us.
