Appreciate the feedback. Have heard we are going at the end of shoulder season so the traffic might not be as bad?
Right now I'm leaning towards taking the train from Rome to Salerno and renting a car there for the 5 days we are in Amalfi Coast. Our Airbnb is a bit out of the way and feel like I'm going to spend a fortune on hiring a car to take us everywhere.
