Had a quick look and turns out on my dates I can get the Portman on a breakaway corp rate of CNY 1050 so I'm heavily leaning towards it.

I can live with the fact that some consider it a sub standard RC, but at this rate it's a steal! Just wondering why it was mentioned it wouldn't fit my breakfast requirements? I know RC club is not given to elites, but don't Plat/Titanium get breakfast at RC? Or is it just underwhelming at this property?

Edit: ok, just reread the rules (it had been a long time since I stayed at RC) so CNY 1455 for "Kids Safari" rate including breakfast, or CNY 1710 for RC Club Lounge. Is lounge worth the extra? Alternatively, Marriott Marquis is CNY 1070 and Westin Bund is CNY 1000, both if I select 2 adults only (I have an 8y.o. in tow but most hotels don't show availability if I select a child).
