The 50 minutes connection at AMS is actually on the return leg back home to IAD. I wouldn’t be as concerned about missing the connection on the front part of our trip (going into Leeds). I would assume there are later flights to go from AMS to LBA if we missed coming in from Dulles. There is a longer window, I think 2 hours, for when we get to AMS from IAD.
