No fingerprints the other day when I landed to KLIA (and found that the pre-registration on arrival has been recently removed).
I went in and out Wednesday/Sunday (today) and fingerprints (both index fingers) were required in both directions.
The Malaysian Immigration Department website says the Digital Arrival Card is still required. I submitted one in advance of our arrival and it was accepted and a receipt emailed back.
