That's interesting. I was actually expecting the 6.0 app to be more likely to update the BP correctly with boarding zone.
I'm an Android user, and in pre-6.0 versions, I don't ever recall seeing the BP color or zone change when a gate upgrade was processed. Only the seat number updated.
