Have a look at the EC261 thread for the full details of your rights, and the standard guidelines below, but yes you can be moved to alternative services regardless of redemption options, minus 3 days to plus 14 days. The Disruption Menu in MMB doesn't always get all the options, particularly if there are other options via Joint Business or codeshares or alternative airports. As ever a lot depends on the details.
