When Cap1 Venture X Biz came out, it was very easy to get approved. With about 10/24, instant approval when public offer just came out. But got declined with 800+ FICO and 6/24. Then got approved with 760 FICO and 4/24. It seems Cap1 has something like Chase 5/24. The letter stated 6/24 was too many new cards. Not same P1 here.
Another $30k spend is not a big deal. It is a business card. May apply for another one when 6/24 gets reduced later next year. 150k points are worth it.
The bonuses have varied up in value and down in volume of spend
Initially it was 150k for 50k spend and another 150k for
450k spend = 300k bonus for 500k spend
= 300+1000 = 1.3M miles for 500k spend =
2.6x miles /$ spend
Then it was 150k for 20k spend and another 150k for
100k spend = 300k bonus for 100k spend
= 300+200 = 500k miles for 100k spend =
5x miles /$ spend
Now it is 150k for
30k spend = 150+60
= 210k bonus for 30k spend over a year =
7x miles /$ spend
It was hard to get the first approval but luckily most of my P9 group were forced to wait and now the miles roll in to our joint account
We almost have too many miles and assuming lost cash of 2.625c per $ spend, our miles are averaging at 5x = 0.525c each
Now to get good transfer bonuses and we are set
