It brings up the fact that you need to pay $48 (?) for a KETA...except elsewhere it says that US citizens (and some other countries) do not need one through December 31, 2024. I wonder how many people get suckered into paying the fee?
What I would be most afraid of is going to the DL counter, having clicked on "I have completed this form", and the TA asking for the KETA, then deny boarding because I said I had one but I actually didn't because it's not required. Just my paranoid brain in overdrive.
The FLYREADY system is what gets you cleared, its what agents use also. If it's marked as clear, the agent sees clear. The only possible thing you'll be asked for is passport verification in that case. This is cause passport/visa verification is technically separate from FLYREADY, even though FLYREADY asks for that information. (It's asking to determine what if any requirements to ask for)
