Depends how many nights (or spend) you had in 2023. Sounds like you did not stay much in 2023? If so, then your status will downgrade on September 1st. You already benefited from 8 months of status extension which is the benefit of Accor Plus. But you cannot extend status forever simply by renewing Accor Plus every year and not staying enough nights.
Actually together with the 20nights I got from joining Accor Plus, I have enough nights to renew my Platinum status (assume it would be until 31Dec24). I am just thinking in 2024, if I does not stay 40nights, would I still get platinum extended into 2025 when I renew my Accor Plus…
