The AC will let you in on the outbound provided you are flying AA coded flight to BKK. Had no problems as a Plat with no AC membership. Unfortunately it's in a different terminal from where the JAL flight leaves so you have to give yourself some time to make the bus shuttle. They do announce when it's time to go.
As I posted before, technically you are not entitled to any lounge access in BKK based on your status and flying AA codeshare in Y, BUT, if you ask VERY, VERY nicely (BEG and be humble!

), I had success ar the CX Business Lounge. Nothing fancy, but it's quiet in the morning. YMMV.
