I am looking at a nice priced BC trip that needs a connection (not on the same PNR) with Cathay.
When I flew Cathay, they were excellent and allowed me to check a bag in from my starting point, through Hong Kong and then onto BA to LHR. This saved me hours at AMS.
Does Finnair have the same approach ?
The connection at HKG is 2 Hours, and is a valid one if I book through Finnair, but I want to change class for the final leg. (£400 saving each way for a 2 hour flight!)
