They have made to order eggs, waffles, dim sum. Basically everything that the full buffet breakfast has except for a noodle station and strawberries
On precious stays, I was usually willing to pay for breakfast as it was much better. No more. going forward I'll be happy with lounge breakfast. The lounge almost seems larger than buffet breakfast restaurant
2) I ate at Man Ho. Excellent, Michelin stared. Worth eating here. Cantonese food is my favorite and this one has good food
3) gym is oddly shaped but has 30 kg dumbbells. Got a great workout. The jacuzzi has really strong jets and was excellent
4) not sure if it's because of Uber or just not busy, but it was easy to get a taxi this time. On precious years it was hard
They gave me a JW HK branded wallet which was awesome. Good memory and I'll use everyday - obviosly no Hermes but at this stage in life I'm all about memories and I have great memories of this hotel. Given keynotes here many many times
They used to provide T-shirts and shorts for a gym workout which was a nice touch. Haven’t been for a while as it was a place for Staycations during Covid. Man Ho is better for lunch (great dim sum) and remember that the lounge doubles as a restaurant so sometimes part of it is sectioned off. I didn’t like the evening snacks as fish balls and greasy chicken just doesn’t cut it for the price. They used to have a much better selection for evening snacks including a few dim sum items. Hopefully this has improved. I still think the Sheraton Tung Chung has better evening snacks / canapés than JW.
