Why not go SQ Premium Economy for Gold Status. Keep in mind some SE Asia destinations can be booked as Mixed Class like MNL T3 on SQ21/23 to SQ918/910 or straight up economy on SQ25 to SQ910 from EWR/JFK. Eight months from Now MNL T3 as final destination from EWR/JFK is $1263.10-1800 fare. I just checked the SQ website today for NYC EWR/JFK-SIN-MNL T3
