Can't Cancel Reservation Online

Can't cancel a reservation online (website or app) over a period of several days. Every time, I get a pop-up telling me I have to log in. But I'm already logged in, the reservation is up, and I'm pressing the "cancel" button! This happens even after I try to log in again.

I found the Hertz phone number after some effort, and am getting the hard sell about using the website or app to cancel! "It's fast and easy." The wait time is 10 minutes, and I have to listen to this over and over. Perhaps, you say, I could just avoid canceling this pay later resy? Well, I'd applied a free day credit, and want it back before I make another booking...
