I think we are going to have lower fares soon. I've seen some decent fares already less than summer 2023 and I'm really looking forward to the June anniversary sale this year. They would not being doing this to attract more business from the Google Flights crowd unless loads were looking bad for summer despite having far fewer aircraft than expected from Boeing and leased aircraft returns. Some connecting routes are going to need a good discount vs. other airlines that have more nonstops.
