- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? DELUXE-Canal View & balcony 1 King bed; from second night upgraded to Executive Suite

- How are the rooms? The deluxe room is serviceable for two people, not huge but very comfortable. The small balcony has nice canal views. The suite is fantastic (the second suite I stayed in at this hotel) with a nice outdoor space.

- What was good and what was bad?

Good: Staff are uniformly friendly and accommodating. 20% discount at the bar/restaurant for guests.

Bad: The restaurant is great for breakfast, for dinner the selection is somewhat limited and you are better off at one of the numerous eateries outside.

- Did you get club lounge access? How was the lounge? N/A

- What about welcome drinks, welcome amenities or any other special perks? Welcome drinks voucher for two; nice welcome amenity.

- Value for $ or Vouchers? Would you return? Not cheap but one of my favourite MGallery hotels out there. Will definitely be back (as the staff said at checkout "Next time you have to try our third and last executive suite")
