It's definitely situational, and just because I'd fly them again doesn't mean I'd recommend them to others (thinking of family members who are anxious about travel).
But in my case the schedule worked out well, with the one daily SFO-PDX at a convenient time. And I had a backup plan in my mind (miles on one of the AS flights that evening) in case it was cancelled or delayed overnight.
I'm not sure if the current bundle pricing will stay or stay at the same price points. But as it is now, it makes it seem a lot easier to switch from AA/DL/UA/AS/B6 where the fare tiers are similarly structured and presented.
I would like to see comparison data between airlines on flights that are, say, 1 hour late, 2 hours late, and more than 3 hours late. From my experience, I believe that Frontier has more flights that are "ridiculously late" than its competitors. Like I've never had a cancelled Frontier flight, but I have a few "ridiculously late" Frontier flights. Personally, I don't really care if my Frontier flight is more than 15 minutes late. I do care if it's several hours late. I'd like to have more than anecdotal information on how frequently that happens. That would be better information for the Biden administration to be providing to the public than fare displays.
