Row 1 is indeed a bit ‘shorter’, also less private when your door is open as visitors to the ‘shower spa’ look into it on their way back. Row 4 is same size as 2 and 3, but is ‘potentially’ disturbed by galley noise.
I too have a preference for row 2 over 3 when it's available, no idea why though. But yes rows 2 and 3 window suites are pretty much exactly the same.
