I read* today that most of the severely injured have head, neck or spine injuries from hitting the ceiling or overhead bins. One person interviewed stated he suffered a concussion from hitting his head, and was aware of other passengers still hospitalized with head injuries. I wonder if this incident will result in any airline changing their seatbelt policies when turbulence is expected.
