My 18 year old daughter, who speaks moderately decent Chinese has been accepted into the adult education program of Jiao Tong to improve her Chinese beginning in August. This is part of a gap year for her and she will start college in the fall of 2025. I am wondering what my daughter may be able to find that is reasonable near the University. Not looking for super cheap but not looking for luxurious. As of now it looks like she will be living by herself. Her 22 yr. old brother roomed with someone attending Jiao Tong for about 3 months beginning in Sept., but his marketing work has taken him back to the US -- so it is not like we are totally unfamiliar with Shanghai. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
