Its been a couple years since I stayed there, however I never had an issue with getting a 4pm late checkout there over multiple stays even when there was a local conference held in the hotel. The hotel has a good amount of conference space in the lower levels but not enough to book up the property.

I think as long as you're not staying during an actual major convention where the hotel is booked, it shouldn't be a problem.
