I am helping a friend pick a seat on her American Airlines flight back to Europe in the Fall. She wants to fly Premium Economy, NOT a bulkhead seat, but definitely a window. I am suggesting 9L, which is in the last row on the 'starboard' side. I am choosing this one because she can recline her seat and leave it reclined without it bugging anyone. My only concern would be if a baby needed that bassinet in the first row of economy. But it's not like Rows 7 or 8 would be immune if this were the case. I did read some reports that the last row might not get their first choice of meal . . . unclear as to if Premium Econ lets you order ahead? Anyway, any downsides to this seat that I am missing??? Every seat but 6A open at the moment. THANK YOU!
