There are currently plenty of C+ seats available. Oddly, it wasn't showing me a purchased upgrade possibility previously but is now (at a price higher than I'm willing to pay). In any event, given that I'm in the exit row with loads of legroom on my flights C+ isn't a huge upgrade, anyway (and some posts suggest that it isn't one at all). I think that the priority check-in may be the best perk for me.
