I also got it. Just checked my account and I'm upgraded. I'm flying JFK-ATH this summer, so it will be nice to have priority check-in and free upgrade to C+, although I'm already in the exit row (which I somehow managed to get to for free before this upgrade) so I may or may not want that upgrade. Boarding seems to be the same group as the AMEX Gold card, which we just got so no benefit there.

My wife did not get a similar email and the new AMEX is in her name.
