Well, as the article also mentioned, these rumors aren't surprising given a current strategy which underperforms - AA would have been better off just saying he's working remotely while he takes care of personal matters.
This article also mentioned he took home $12.2 million last year. I find that very hard to believe.
But if true, maybe we now know where the money that used to incentivize better CK and FA service has been shunted to.
