Sounds like the OP might be visiting here in the summer. Doing anything outside will make you become a towel drenched in sweat. If you can access the American AC ($79 for a day pass) BOS and ORD have showers to feel at least decent for the flight. DCA does not and Washington DC can be brutally hot in summer.
