I’m not aware there there have been any significant changes to FT formatting recently.
A thread title search for Ritz Atlanta on iPad works as expected :
and a post content search for Ritz Atlanta brings up 18 different threads, including these 2, which seems about right.
Maybe there is a local setup difference on your iPad, do you see anything different ?
