Flew the AUH-JFK route on the A-380 and loved every moment of it.

Highlights :

1. New First lounge at AUH was great. I was able to get the VIP room for an additional 22,500 points.
2. Service on board was exceptional.

Low points:

1. Poor check in process. I was checked in at the business class area. The agent was irritated that I bothered him and when I asked about the first class check in area, he said "it's all the same and there is probably no one there as it was shift change time"
2. Chaotic boarding process. No special First Class lines. The agent, without even looking at my boarding pass made me stand in the Economy line for 10 min. I guess he assumed what class I would fly based on my appearance
