Same. I don't think most hotel staff in Asia, in particular, aren't necessarily angry or upset with guests (though in the case of my last stay at the Conrad, I would have been livid had I been treated the way the staff were). Instead, I've gotten the sense from several with whom I've spoken in Bangkok over the last year (at the St. Regis, Conrad, Sofitel, Four Points, JW, Ibis Styles Phra Khanong, and Sukhothai) that they are feeling massively overwhelmed now that tourism is back and because those visiting are more diverse than ever and bringing more diverse needs. Trying to be all things to more and more people can only be more and more difficult, I imagine.
