QA offers either a very long transit (around 9 hours) or, only on certain days, a 2h10 min transit. I'm not very keen on spending 9 hours in the airport so I'd like to opt for the 2 h layover.
1. My understanding from previous posts is that 2 hours is more than enough. However, flights from Baku are often delayed for various reasons. Is there a short connection lane in Doha if I need to rush to the second flight?
2. If for any reason I can't make, is QA helpful in terms of giving accommodation, meals or rerouting? My main concern is actually to be able to make it myself but luggage gets left behind.
3. I imagine I won't go through customs or passport control but I'll need to go through security. Is it possible to bring liquids without any limit? I've read in Doha they have the new 3D scanners?
Thank you in advance.

I had a 1hr10 mins connection last year and missed it as the plane left heathrow late. Im on the exact same flight this year and already worrying. I was travelling in the business cabin so a rep met me from the heathrow plane to tell me i had been re-booked on the next outgoing flight and she took me over to the lounge. The rep explained I could of possibly made the flight if we ran but my luggage likely wouldnt make it.

I was going onwards to the maldives, I dont remember having to pass through any security but I could be wrong.
