I would echo the poster above. But to your question, I have found that the payment engine (using credit card though) is a bit iffy these days - over the past few weeks I had a number of bookings where, after the payment submission, the site just keeps ‘loading’. It ultimately never loads, but the booking and payment goes through after a few minutes, and I get to know when the confirmation arrives in my mailbox. Could be same issue with direct debit, only the different twist that it doesn’t trigger the ticket issuance.
