Thank you for that. I do think it's disingenuous that they're allowing people to join up until the day before the offer ends when the vast majority of transactions simply won't clear in that time. So I hope there's a bit of flex for any transactions pending but not necessarily approved. They rather told me there was, but with something of an 'obviously can't guarantee' vibe.

I did an emergency Tesco wine run today (needed to be done at some point anyway) because in my experience Tesco tend to clear transactions same day. So hopefully that'll help if the other transaction doesn't go through.
