On arrivals they're a bit more lax but on departures they check against a folder with all airlines and Scoot is not eligible in any class.
Even with "Falcon Gold" from Gulf Air I had to get a printed pass as they didn't believe it was "Business Class" and they were looking for the J code on the boarding pass.
