I was affected by the post-storm baggage situation in Dubai. The Emirates agent at my arrival airport (when my luggage didn't arrive) said to gather the receipts and submit claim for compensation via the website, and that Emirates will cover it. My luggage was delayed for around 2.5 days. I have submitted the claim to the website under complaint and baggage one week ago. But i have not heard anything back. Does anyone know how long Emirates will take to process these? has anyone sucessfully received compensation from the airline?
I understand that there are MANY cases to resolve (my flight had 89 or so misplaced luggages, and i was told by the agent that a flight the day before arrived with NO luggage onboard).
Appreciate any insights as to how long i should wait or how hard i should chase

Quick Question:
How can you claim from Emirates for expenses incurred due to the Storm in Dubai?
Is there a Generic email address?
