By and large and to the credit of the vast majority of housekeepers that work so hard for many of us all around the world
They seem to mostly be an honest group.I have had some missing items through the years but I can say its been pretty rare

Oddly many years ago I did have boxes of chocolates in my room removed @ a Hyatt in Chicago
and they were on the housekeepers cart.
I think they thought I checked out and didn't want them?
My luggage was left with the bellman but I went back up just to collect them personally and to my shock they were gone!
