One issue may be that the Latitude fare is booking into M class (based on a couple of random Sept dates), vs Y or B. With branded fares it shouldn't matter, but it appears maybe the system is broken.
With Latitude, you can always book a date and apply for the upgrade and cancel in a few days if it does not clear.
Ahh ok - this is very helpful. Glad I'm not alone! Is it possible to see what booking class the Latitude fare is quoting? And is it worth/possible looking for Y or B class?
I may try and book a flight and see if it clears - hopefully this is just a system glitch and it clears up shortly. Would it be worth looking for flights with wide open J, or does that not really improve things? Lastly, what would, typically (and I appreciate this is rather subjective) a reasonable amount of time to wait for an latitude fare to clear its eupgrade?
