Funnily enough, I had the Avios in BA and moved them to Iberia because the fees were lower.
It may still be worth calling Iberia and asking the question. Every time I call they give me a different answer, so you may just luck out and they allow you to change the flight. They seem to make the rules up as they go along a lot of the time, at least in my experience.
