On May 18, 2024 I found the room I wanted for 5 nights using this discounted rate. Just before hitting confirm, I noticed that the cancel by date is March 17, 2024. This date is BEFORE the eligible booking dates and the day I tried to book. I contacted customer service and was told that the cancellation date is correct. I asked if the Everyday Escape offer is a prepaid deal, and was assured that it is not. This makes no sense! Anybody else seeing this?
I had the same experience, but I thought it may have been a price mistake.
Hilton Mistake Rate or Sale? Should I be worried?
The Everyday Escape rate includes a $50 F&B credit.
For the property and dates that I booked, the daily rate, without including the $50.00 F&B was actually cheaper than what I had booked previously as HILTON HONORS SEMI-FLEX with a 5 day cancelation window.
It looks like the Everyday Escape rate becomes fully non-refundable after 90 days and that's why some stays are showing a cancelation date that has already passed.
I'm not complaining, but it's a good reminder to always check the cancelation terms before booking. Good Luck.
