Which is exactly how it should - and how one would expect it to - work. That was even my response in the FB SML post comments thread: if a GA gave me a hard time over the issue, I'd just ask for my BP to be printed, so that it would show my updated seat and boarding zone. I appreciate GAs enforcing the boarding priority/zones, but common sense should prevail. Zone 1 is FC, so someone sitting in a FC seat can board with Zone 1, regardless of what the digital BP says.
