While Malaysian (cant speak for other Asians) who boarded JL J and Y class are way more casual when compared to Japanese pax except for few who are heading straight to office once arrived in NRT at 6am

End of the day I think person manners towards other pax and crew are more important that what are you wearing for the flight.
Do you think everyone is treated the same by the crew? It’s my Malaysian Chinese husband that told me to dress up. I thought of shorts because of stories that it’s warm on board and because we’re going to Bali through Tokyo. I’ll be in the JL lounge for hours so I don’t want to be cold though.

Darn it. I wish they allowed you to bring different clothes for different scenarios. 😭
