Wait a second. This isn't dining in, where you're expected to dress as well as the people who will serve you.
They give you clothes to change into, at least in F. The context is akin to a Ryokan (false analogy)? Even if I arrive in white tie and tails it won't matter, because that is not what I'm expected to wear during the stay/trip.

Downton Abbey but BA also gives you PJs to change into and I've eaten all my first First meals on BA in them...have I committed a faux pas?)
While turning up for a flight I try to change into a new shirt if I have any left but that's about it.
