I renewed my passport in 2021. USA and the newer electronic/biometric version. In 2023, used the e-gates at LHR with no problem. I did not register my passport with the UK. So, do these newer passports work at HKG without the need to register as a frequesnt visitor? I have BA Gold and AA Platinum but no visits in 4 years. My prior passport did have the frequent visitor bar code, but I don't know if I still have that sticker.
