Didn't consider a Hotel on arrival but I can see the point of having somewhere to crash if needed during the time before you can check-in (3pm).
As someone that travels regularly to South Korea, I would suggest not crashing anywhere on arrival but stay awake until a reasonable time for bed. Too many times I have taken what was intended to be a 15-20 minute nap and woken 3 hours later feel like death microwaved at 700% power, and waking at 4am every morning for a week.
Take a stroll, go shopping - grab a beer or two - Tokyo is surprisingly cheap for that at the moment, do anything but sleep on arrival
