Though I absolutely agree that the Centurion Lounge is better than the BA lounge (though the food is equal, IMO, based on my visit in early April), the issue is is that the PHL Centurion Lounge is consistently packed to the gills, particularly before the evening TATL departure bank and especially now with summer travel picking up. The last time I was there, I was ushered to a stool at the table by the buffet while I had to eat my food with T-Rex arms to avoid hitting the people to my left and right with my elbows. I didn't have this problem in the BA lounge.
I found the BA lounge to be packed as well, prior to the BA flight.
Food is different. I find the CL food more of a full meal. BA lounge feels more typical of lounge food (with some healthy mezze).
That said, I've only used the BA lounge prior to TATL flights and I usually only snack prior to the flight since there's a full meal on the plane. Vs when I use the CL, there's often not a full or appetizing meal on the plane.
