I grant that 60 days is normally reasonable, but there are exceptions. I’ve already booked my retirement trip in a little more than two years from now. I’m going to be out of the country more than two months. I will have been with my carrier close to a decade at that point. A little discretion wold go a long ways. I’d be happy to send them the proof that I am not moving outisde the US. (Despite my handle, my ex pat gig ended years ago).
