Thrilled to see from recent feedback here that CSUs have started working on Rewards bookings.

I'm a Diamond Amb planning a 2-4 night stay at the IC Park Lane London in October, but given that the Suite upgrade via CSU can only be secured 14 days prior to the check-in date, the best approach I can think of for now is just to buy IHG points to redeem a Rewards booking at the Cosy Room current rate (since it is lower than a revenue BFR), and hope that Suites are available in Oct? Any other suggestions or approaches I should consider?
