Don't care either way, but might have been once or twice on board (upfront) while I was a 1K for a few years, out of hundreds of flights. Never once in economy, which I fly most of the time.

I mention economy because at Delta, where I am a Silver, and yet I'd get thanked even sitting in the rear of the plane. Just different training culture. And also thank you card already waiting at your seat upon boarding (6am fight). United, it's the other way around, too many times, pax are the ones waiting for crew arrival.
